  1. Don’t Trust Love

    July 31, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Don't hurt me, no more. This week’s mashup combines a new favorite of mine with an old classic. Not only does 3OH!3’s “Don’t Trust Me” have some pretty slammin’ beats, it also degrades women AND Helen Keller. Everything a growing boy needs.

Haddaway’s “What is Love” is decidedly one of the most awesome 90’s club jams, spawning forth and even more amazing sketch series and film (which just so happens to be patterned after my life).

So grab some headphones and get ready to get your masochistic swerve on.

  2. BDPE Episode 50

    July 30, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Mmmmm...50 Episodes? Good god, it’s time for a celebration! Everyone break out your favorite gaming accessories!

On this week’s show we recap you on all the news from Comic-Con 2009 (believe us, it’s a lot of news), a fair and unbiased review of too human, (it’s balls), and learn that both Oak-town gets it right (and Chi-town gets it right).

We also discuss trannies, bestiality, and how EA likes to remind us that women are still objects. Take that women’s lib – wave to them beneath our glass floor.

If you have any feedback for us just send us an email here, or call us up at 845-BATTLE-9.

  3. BDPE Episode 49

    July 22, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Summer releases blow...Welcome to mid-July! Where the game industry goes to die a slow empty death. Kind of like a nursing home – we’ve had enough of your Vietnam stories grim-grim.

So the releases are slim, the news is slow, the battle contestant sucked, and I’m still unemployed. But fear not! BDPE has got you covered, with at last a full crew this week!

We recount some of our favorite classic games you may want to revisit during these slower summer months, give you some good janks on how to wisely spend those recession dollars, and tell you the things to avoid (good god why did I buy Too Human? I knew that shit would suck and I bought it anyway).

As always, if you’d like to donate hit up our little button below. Post any feedback in the forums, and sign up for next week’s battle.

  5. Ultramix Summer 2009

    July 9, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Alright, so it’s been a few months since my last DJ post, and I bet you kids are thinking, “Whatever happened to Trust Hustlers?” Well I moved to Baltimore and I’m minus two hustlers, so I figured now would be a good time to invent a new brand. Introducing…

Butts and Wheels. Now with 48% more nudity! This demo track is nearly 10 minutes in length and mixes over 80 artists from across 5 decades of pop music. It’s got classic rock, hip hop, techno, motown, and of course, obligatory 90’s dance. What kind of set would this be without Space Jam?

I’ve set up a website over at PopChopper.com that has some more details as well as contact info, in case you want live in the Baltimore area and want to spice up your party.

Since BDPE is all about games, I figure most of you sexually crippled nerds probably aren’t huge fans of pop music. You prefer the finer things, like chiptunes and the theme song to Gundam Wing.

Well fear not! I recently stumbled upon a nice set of SNES music I’ll be mashing up for you next week, so keep an eye out. If you have any suggestions or request for SNES Pop Chop, post ’em in the forums here.

  6. BDPE Episode 47

    July 8, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Electronic Entertainment Expo = fun times.Ahhh. The Electronic Entertainment Expo. An overhyped circus where only the largest of publisher’s get noticed and mediocrity is given the spotlight. Kind of like a fat kid at a talent show.

On this week’s show we recap all the news from E3 and breakdown what’s hot, what’s not, and why Nintendo seems content to break their fan’s hearts time and time again.

  7. Goddamino’s Pizza

    July 8, 2009 by BLAKEBUCK

Kiss me, black 70's Michael.“I just wanted to say, ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say, I love him so much”

As touching of a sentiment as this may have been, little Paris’ speech had lost it’s luster the 13th goddamn time I’d seen Michael Jackson’s funeral recapped. The four o’clock news, the five o’clock news, the six o’clock news. Then national recaps via NBC Nightly News and Access Hollywood.

Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine? Really? Don’t you think your perspective is a bit limited, seeing as how he’s the only father you’ve ever had? Surely someone else is more qualified, say a troubled youth who’s bounced from foster home to foster home? You know, like the kid from Terminator 2. And he ended up saving the world. From the machines.

“So turns out you’ve got acute food poisoning. Possibly from the pepperonis on the pizza. We’re gonna prescribe you some antibiotics and send you on your way”

The doctor is a young indian guy with a stylish haircut and a no-nonsense attitude. If it weren’t for the searing stomach pain, I’d say I was on the set of the latest hospital drama. Soon he’d be telling me about the hard call he had to make between the burn victim and the suffocating child.

“Up next, Michael’s estranged wife was absent from the funeral, find out more in an uncovered lost interview”

Once something is past the prime of it’s life, it’s easy to throw rocks. Pick apart it’s flaws. Become poisoned by unhealthy thoughts.

SEX. ON. WHEELS.“If you have anymore nausea or vomiting take one pill every four hours”

But once something is truly gone, all that seems to go away. You only remember the good times. The moments that made you smile.

Then again, iGame Radio just redesigned their website. Yup. Mac gaming still sucks cock. Perhaps more now than ever. But hey,

    Omaha is lookin’ hot.
